Hi! My name is Sophia, a creative, driven entrepreneur who’s been building businesses since I was 13. It all started during quarantine when I began selling homemade cakes to bring joy into people’s homes and share hope in tough times. Yet, what began as something small quickly grew into something much bigger. Over the years, I transformed my passion for creativity and connection into a bean-to-bar chocolate brand with a significant purpose, donating profits to causes that matter and creating a loyal community around it.

I didn’t stop there, though, I started teaching online classes for young girls, partnered with foundations supporting breast cancer awareness, and began helping other small brands find their voice. I realized what I loved most was bringing ideas to life, not just my own, but other people’s too.

That’s why I created Elevate & Co. This isn’t just a marketing studio; it’s a space where passionate business owners get real support from someone who truly understands what it takes to build something from scratch. I like to work one-on-one with every client because I know how personal a brand can be, trust me, I’ve been there! Previous Experience in Marketing/Business

  • Before launching Elevate & Co., I built and ran Evolve , a bean-to-bar chocolate brand I created entirely from the ground up. I made every chocolate bar from scratch by hand, sourcing my ingredients directly from local farmers to ensure quality and support my community, as well as donating 45% of my profits to soup kitchens. From product development to packaging design, storytelling to social media — I did all of the branding and marketing myself. Evolve wasn’t just about chocolate; it was about creating an experience and a mission people could believe in. That hands-on journey taught me what it really takes to grow a brand with purpose, and it’s exactly the kind of experience I now bring to every client I work with.

  • Sophia’s Bakery was my very first business, which started during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. It started small, with baking and selling cakes from home, but ultimately became the start of something much bigger. I built a social media presence from scratch, and eventually created an online space where I taught young girls how to bake and build confidence through creativity. That experience taught me more than just how to run a business — it showed me the power of having a vision, and making it come true. Sophia’s Bakery was where I first discovered that I didn’t just love creating products — I loved creating brands, building communities, and helping others bring their ideas to life. It was the spark that led me to everything I do today.

  • I’ve taken many paths to discover and learn new things. For example, during my 5-month internship at Dianca S.A., Nicaragua, I worked as a marketing agent and gained a lot of experience, learning to strategically choose platforms, timing, and content style to boost engagement and get real results. It was my first time seeing how professional businesses incorporate marketing every day, deepening my understanding of how to connect with people through social media in a meaningful way. To continue growing my skills, I’m also enrolled in Georgetown University’s Program, where I’ll be taking Becoming an Investor: An Inside Look at Finance, which will allow me to further understand how businesses grow, scale, and thrive from the inside out.
